I have always had an interest in planets and the sky especially in films that show case them so in detail, so when I saw an tutorial on making planets your own way on Blender i knew i had to look more into it. I had made one earlier on in the semester playing around with Blender and what not but had nothing to prove for it so I figured i might as well make another one because I enjoyed the process of making the first one.
I started off by adding the sphere ball into blender and making stars around the ball by using Nodes. Not only did they nodes make a gorgeous looking night sky but they also where very useful in adding on a free download of a wrap photo for my planet.
This process compared to the other ones i have tried with blender this semester, I found quite easy and have the nodes really helps to visualize where and what I was making, I took inspiration and some tips off of a youtube video by, Daniel Grove Photo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6224Wisxwxc&t=1567s) He gave links in that video that helped me find a lot of the wraps for the spheres and had a lot of helpful tips with nodes that really made this process not only easy but want to make a whole solar system!
