Making a donut using Blender

As a first time user of the software Blender i followed a very helpful tutorial by the Blender Guru on Youtube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPrnSACiTJ4) At first I was very hesitant as I am still getting to know what I can do with the software. I did struggle a lot with using blender as I only had my laptop with no mouse or a keyboard, which can make some of these things very difficult but in the end I was happy with what I was able to come up and out with.

You can see I started with a shape of a torus and following along with the Blender Guru youtube tutorials, in the editing mode I made the donut have more of a rough effect as we all know that all donuts aren't a perfect shape or form I made it a bit more realistic. After adding some little bumps and bruises I added the top icing and made it as well more unperfected. I also wanted to add some color to my little donut but was unable to at the time with how my laptop was set up, but no worries I was able to find out how with another intriguing 3D animation you can find on this blog as well.

I enjoyed this process and even though I was doing it bit by bit and learning the basics of this software I am happy with how my first 3D Blender animation came out!
